    The Walking Dead

    Hey forumers!

Just wondering if any of you have read the Walking Dead graphic novels. I've become invested in them thanks to Greg Miller's tweets and talks about them and I love them. I've read Volumes # 1 - 8 and watched the first season of the TV show.

So how many of you read the novels? What's your opinion on them? Sound off below, but I'd like to keep it spoiler free for myself and anyone else who isn't up to date on them yet. Though talking with someone about Volume 8 would be nice. That was messed up...

They are very good, been awhile since I've read them. Don't wanna ruin anything for you. If you just started reading, they get better and better. Tv show or comics..both are good but I like the comics better...

I'm up to 22 right now, and they are pretty good.

#84 so far, the series is great!

The story is well told, very intense, sometimes shocking and too violent, but more like a sudden check on the grim situation, than a senseless gore fest.

The graphic novels blow the TV show out of the water, hand down! The show is good don't get me wrong but I think if the follow the story closer to how it was in the graphic novels it would have been a lot better. I am fully caught up on them and waiting for the newest trade back to come out in the next few weeks.

Remember that it's easier to print than to film, besides I look at this more or less like the same story told by people that remeber it in different ways.
